Events Programme

Principal IFAA Events and Activities are listed below. Other events and activities are organised on an ad hoc basis or in response to emerging issues. The 2011 Scholar's Dinner took place on Thursday, 9 June in the Dylan Hotel, Eastmoreland Place, Dublin 4. Almost all the 2011 Fulbright Scholars attended the event and a very enjoyable evening was had by all. The IFAA Thanksgiving Dinner took place on Friday November 25 and proved very popular and successful.

Activities of the Irish Fulbright Alumni Association

• The publication twice yearly of the Alumni Newsletter.
• The updating of the Alumni Directory.
• The Annual Fulbright Scholars’ Dinner.
• The Annual Thanksgiving Dinner.
• The Annual Visit to the National Concert Hall.
• The frequent meetings of the Alumni Association Committee.
• Monthly Comhluadar meeting where visiting U.S. Fulbrighters, Fulbright Alumni and friends can meet and socialise.

Season's Greetings

The IFAA President Dr Paul Donnelly has recently been elected to the to the eight-member Governing Body of the European Network of American Alumni Associations, the umbrella association whose catchment spans 49 countries and covers 400,000 alumni of US government-sponsored exchange programmes.
